Clothing items in the Bakery are represented as tokens on the blockchain. Specifically, they are NFTs on Ethereum. Once an item is purchased, it is minted as an NFT. The user then has the ability to redeem the clothing item, by entering in shipping information, and burning the corresponding NFT. Items can be purchased with partner ERC 20 tokens, or with a credit card. You won't even have to know its on the blockchain!
